My pots are fired to 1940º degrees f (cone 04), and if treated properly, will last many years. Because terracotta is not as dense and hard as stoneware or porcelain, extreme temperature changes should be avoided. Preheat teapots and platters briefly with hot tap water. Dishwasher and microwave safe, except where specifically noted, but oven use is not recommended. |
